Roosevelt School PTA Presents 2011-2012 Reflections Program
"Diversity Means . . ."
Thank you to all the students who participated in this year's Reflections Program. All the entries received were extremely creative! The Visual Arts category included drawings of earth, flags, hands-holding-hands, balloons, and friendships. In the Literature category, students defined what Diversity Means in their well-written poems. In the Photography category, the clear, sharp, and colorful photos of dala horses, shapely bottles, and colorful threads were impressive. In the Dance Choreography category, we even learned about the Kathak Dance.
Judging to advance to the Bergen County level took place in mid-December. The following student entries advanced: Gillian Burns, Rhea Mulloth, Raghavi Shanmuganathan, Allison McKerry, Jessa Dell'Aguila, Maya Malizia, Bryan Cosman, Mia Guzzo, Barbara Sales, Andrew Cosman, Tyler Laski, Haley Perez, Carly Martin, and Rebecca Rossano. Congratulations!
The judging at the Bergen County level took place in January 2012. It is with great enthusiasm to announce that the following Roosevelt School student entries advanced to the New Jersey State level for judging: Congratulations!

To acknowledge ALL the Roosevelt School student entries that were submitted and for their hard work, the Roosevelt School PTA will be hosting an Awards & Gallery event at the Roosevelt School gymnasium. Students will have the opportunity to view all the entries while socializing with their fellow classmates. An invitation to all the students will be sent out in May with the date and time of the event.
