Principal's Message

I am very excited to be part of this successful learning community in Lyndhurst. I have received nothing but well wishes and support from each person I have encountered, and I thank you.

Roosevelt School is a warm, caring place where children are challenged to shine and light the way with learning. Each child has a light of their own that is important, and we believe all students can learn with time, practice, and high expectations. The most successful children are those whose parents are involved with them, who share experiences at home and at our school.

The professional staff at Roosevelt School is dedicated to meeting the academic needs of all our students. Achievement and success are our motivators as we strive to meet and surpass our district's academic goals.

Throughout the year, we will continue to communicate with you on our web site, through monthly newsletters and notes from school. Please become an active part of our success by helping your child to attend daily, arrive on time, and provide a quiet time and place to do homework.

We look forward to solidifying old relationships, and creating new ones. Together, we will provide the best educational experiences where knowledge and memories will last a lifetime.

Sincerely,
Mr. Peter G. Strumolo
